Hi Billie. First, go to your Zone Leader and get a Brgy. Clearance form, then follow evry steps, (there are many persons to sign other than Zone Leader).
The last place for you to go before Post Office is your Barangay Hall for the Barangay Captain to sign, then proceed to Post Office. With your ID, 2X2 pictures and prepare a certain amount and your live birtcertificate also.
We can get by with just 2 IDs both of which must have photos -required since post 911. I carry my CDL and MilID. Both are sufficient for bank transactions and other that requires ID. Authorization cards are another matter. They usually don't have a photo.

I would like to ask if it is possible for me to apply for a postal i.d here in makati, although I am not a registered resident of any barangays in here?! I heard that a brgy. clearance will not be issued upon a request of an applicant if he/she is not a bonafide resident of any of the brgys.
I'm from leyte by the way, and I was just thinking if it is possible for me to use the brgy clearance I have from where I really came from for applying a postal i.d. here in makati.
